Cause-wise Death of Indian Nationals in Saudi Arabia during 2016 to 2018

In total there were 7980 deaths of Indian Nationals in Saudi Arabia during 2016 to 2018, out of which the number of deaths was 2765, 2664 and 2551 in 2016, 2017 and 2018 respectively. Major 5 causes with respect to deaths of Indian Nationals in Saudi Arabia during 2018 were Natural Causes, Traffic Accidents, Suicide, Other Causes and Occupational Accidents. The number of deaths of Indian Nationals in Saudi Arabia due to Natural Causes was 1850 during 2018, which accounted 72.52% of the total deaths of Indian Nationals in Saudi Arabia during the same period. Deaths of Natural Causes have been increased by 1.8% during 2018 in comparison to decline of -1.5% during 2017 over its previous year.

The number of deaths of Indian Nationals in Saudi Arabia due to Traffic Accidents was 376 during 2018, down by -21.2% versus 477 deaths in 2017. Whereas it had been declined by -22.6% during 2017 over 2016 from 616 deaths. Traffic Accidental deaths accounted 14.74% of the total deaths of Indian Nationals in Saudi Arabia due to Traffic Accidents during 2018. The number of deaths of Indian Nationals in Saudi Arabia due to Suicide was 117 during 2018, which accounted 4.59% of the total deaths of Indian Nationals in Saudi Arabia during the same period.

The number of deaths of Indian Nationals in Saudi Arabia due to Other Causes was 118 during 2018, which accounted 4.63% of the total deaths of Indian Nationals in Saudi Arabia during the same period. Other Causes Deaths have been declined by -1.7% during 2018 in comparison to increase of 22.4% during 2017 over its previous year. The number of deaths of Indian Nationals in Saudi Arabia due to Occupational Accidents was 90 during 2018, which accounted 3.53% of the total deaths of Indian Nationals in Saudi Arabia during 2018.
