Cases Reported under Electricity Act during 2015

The number of cases reported under Electricity Act in India was 97591 during the year 2015. There were 7 States/UTs having more than 1000 cases reported under Electricity Act during the year 2015 viz. Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, West Bengal, Bihar, Rajasthan, Delhi and Jharkhand.

The number of cases reported under Electricity Act in Uttar Pradesh was 57193 during the year 2015. It accounted for 58.6% of the number of cases reported under Electricity Act in India during the year 2015. The number of cases reported under Electricity Act in Haryana was 18598 during the year 2015. It accounted for 19.06% of the number of cases reported under Electricity Act in India during the year 2015.

The number of cases reported under Electricity Act in West Bengal was 8998 during the year 2015. It accounted for 9.22% of the number of cases reported under Electricity Act in India during the year 2015. The number of cases reported under Electricity Act in Bihar was 4217 during the year 2015.
