Candidates Trained and reported Placed by NSDC under Fee Based Model from 2015-16 to 2019-20

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is also implementing agency of Government scheme namely Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) which is the flagship skill development scheme of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

The number of candidates trained was 1,355,473 under NSDC under fee based model during 2015-16. It has surged by 17.41% to 1,591,519 candidates trained during 2016-17 over 2015-16. We have seen annual growth of 18.77% in candidates trained under NSDC under fee based model during 2017-18 above 2016-17. The number of candidates trained under NSDC under fee based model was 2,017,420 during 2018-19, up by 6.73% against 1,890,234 during 2017-18. There were 278,932 trained candidates under NSDC under fee based model during 2019-20 (as on 22nd Nov 2019).

The number of candidates placed was 635,156 under NSDC under fee based model during 2015-16. It has increased by 4.69% to 664,952 candidates placed during 2016-17 above 2015-16. Annual growth of 16.47% has been observed in candidates placed under NSDC under fee based model during 2017-18 over 2016-17. The number of candidates placed under NSDC under fee based model was 660,734 during 2018-19, down by -14.69% versus 774,502 during 2017-18. There were 59,732 placed candidates under NSDC under fee based model during 2019-20 (as on 22.11.2019).
