ASIDE Scheme Funds given by Government of India to Madhya Pradesh from 2003-04 to 2012-13

Assistance to States for Infrastructure Development of Exports (ASIDE) scheme is a very important scheme of the Government of India to encourage the state government to develop infrastructure for promoting exports and thus helping various firms and entrepreneurs to export their products to foreign countries.

During the period from 2003-04 to 2012-13, the Government of India provided Rs. 14288 Lacs to the Government of Madhya Pradesh under Assistance to States for Infrastructure Development of Exports (ASIDE) scheme. Thus, the average annual funds provided to Madhya Pradesh works out to Rs. 1428.80 Lacs during this period. There has been a long term increasing trend in the funds provided by the Government of India to the Government of Madhya Pradesh under ASIDE scheme.

However, there have been fluctuations in the funds provided under ASIDE scheme on year to year basis. During the period from 2003-04 to 2012-13, the maximum funds amounting to Rs. 2216 Lacs was given in the year 2011-2012, while, the minimum funds amounting to Rs. 600 Lacs were given in the year 2003-2004. There were four years in which the amount of funds provided under the ASIDE scheme was less than the funds provided in the previous year viz. 2006-2007, 2008-2009, 2009-2010 and 2012-2013.
