Applications sanctioned by Banks against the Applications recommended by DLTFC under PMEGP for setting up of Enterprises from 2015-16 to 2018-19

During 2015-16, there were 127423 applications recommended /forwarded to banks by District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) under Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) for setting up of enterprises. Out of 127423 applications forwarded, 67839 (53.24%) applications were sanctioned by banks during 2015-16. We have seen annual growth of 34.6% in applications forwarded by DLTFC to 171505 applications and 14.29% in applications sanctioned by banks to 77531 applications under PMEGP for setting up of enterprises during 2016-17 above 2015-16. So there was a sanction of 45.21% applications by banks under PMEGP for setting up of enterprises during 2016-17.

The number of applications forwarded to banks by DLTFC under PMEGP for setting up of enterprises was 292238 during 2017-18, up by 70.4% against the number of applications forwarded during 2016-17. Whereas annual decline of -8.96% has been observed in applications sanctioned by banks under PMEGP for setting up of enterprises to 70585 during 2017-18 versus the number of applications sanctioned during 2016-17. Here it seemed 24.15% applications were sanctioned by banks under PMEGP for setting up of enterprises during 2017-18.

During 2018-19 (as on 30.11.2018); the number of applications forwarded to banks by DLTFC and the number of applications sanctioned by banks was 173386 and 29156 respectively under PMEGP for setting up of enterprises.
