Annual Plan as percentage of GSDP (Current Prices) from 2001-02 to 2013-14

The range of annual plan as percentage of GSDP (Current Prices) in 2013-14 (approved outlay) of various states has ranged from 36.14% outlay as a percentage of GSDP (highest) in case of Arunachal Pradesh to 2.19% outlay as a percentage of GSDP (lowest) in case of Kerala.

The 10 states with highest level of approved outlay as percentage of GSDP in 2013-14 are: Arunachal Pradesh (with outlay of 36.14% as a percentage of GSDP); Manipur (with outlay of 31.75% as a percentage of GSDP); Meghalaya (with outlay of 26.79% as a percentage of GSDP); Mizoram (with outlay of 25.66% as a percentage of GSDP); Sikkim(with outlay of 20.6% as a percentage of GSDP); Nagaland (with outlay of 15.4% as a percentage of GSDP); Tripura(with outlay of 13.86% as a percentage of GSDP); Chhattisgarh (with outlay of 13.35% as a percentage of GSDP); Bihar (with outlay of 11.37% as a percentage of GSDP) and Jharkhand (with outlay of 11.09% as a percentage of GSDP).

While, the 5 states with lowest level of approved outlay as percentage of GSDP in 2013-14 are: Himachal Pradesh (with outlay of 5.2% as a percentage of GSDP); West Bengal (with outlay of 4.56% as a percentage of GSDP); Tamil Nadu (with outlay of 4.54% as a percentage of GSDP); Punjab (with outlay of 3.76% as a percentage of GSDP) and Kerala (with outlay of 2.19% as a percentage of GSDP).
