During 2016-17, number of Aircraft departures was 810194 by All Scheduled Indian Airlines on Scheduled Domestic Services, which carried total cargo of 637797.5 ton; out of which 601798.3 ton (94.36%) was freight cargo and 35999.2 ton (5.64%) was mail cargo.
The number of Aircraft departures was 63017 by All Scheduled Indian Airlines on Scheduled Domestic Services during April-2016. It has increased by 6.13% to 66878 departures during May-2016 over April-2016. We have seen monthly decline of -8.75% in Aircraft departures by All Scheduled Indian Airlines on Scheduled Domestic Services during February-2017 over January- 2017 from 70749 departures. The number of Aircraft departures by All Scheduled Indian Airlines on Scheduled Domestic Services was 71713 in March-2017, up by 11.09% from 64556 departures in February-2017.
During April-2016, cargo carried by All Scheduled Indian Airlines on Scheduled Domestic Services was 48489.4 ton. It has increased by 7.48% to 52117.3 ton in May-2016 over April-2016. Monthly de-growth of -4.2% has been observed in cargo carried by All Scheduled Indian Airlines on Scheduled Domestic Services in February-2017 over January- 2017 from 52094.2 ton. Cargo carried by All Scheduled Indian Airlines on Scheduled Domestic Services was 57980.8 ton during March-2017, up by 16.18% versus 49905.9 ton during February-2017.
Maximum number of Aircraft departures was 71713 in March-2017 and maximum cargo carried was 60845.6 ton in October-2016 by All Scheduled Indian Airlines on Scheduled Domestic Services during the period under consideration.
